Maria Fortuno and Rolan Martineau filled our St. Joseph’s Feast with flair, unveiling a vibrant Renaissance inspired table setting that brought the whole celebration to life. Their creativity, dedication, and thoughtful planning added a joyful spark to the day, grazie mille to both of them for making the feast shine!

Another view of the table features our very own Mistress of Ceremonies, Mary Monzo. With her bright smile and boundless energy, she sets the tone and gets the night off to a fantastic start.

Maria Fortuno opens the evening with an Italian‑inspired story about Saint Joseph’s Day and its connection to the traditional ‘fava beans,’ a staple food native to the Mediterranean.

We were honored to welcome a special guest, Father Lenin Johnson from Saint Thomas Aquinas in Saint Cloud. He offered a beautiful blessing over the food and delivered a heartfelt message to our members in Italian

The Osceola County Sons & Daughters of Italy held its second-annual Cinderella Closet Event on Sunday, Feb 9, at Falcon's Fire Country Club.
This event donates prom dresses to young ladies that cannot afford to purchase a dress, and also raises money for scholarships.
The event doubled in size from last year, and we are proud to say that we donated 120 dresses to our local high schools and raised more than $6,000.
The Osceola lodge partners with counselors across the district to find those students who are in need of the gowns.
Our goal as Osceola County Sons & Daughters of Italy in America, is to give back to our community, and hopefully, we have a great example of our fraternity and our commitment to make a difference.
Of course any great event needs the support and help of other people, so, much thanks goes to Tony and Linda Anderson, from Tacoma Washington. Tony is our National Financial Secretary. John Buenaventura, from Rhode Island, National Future Good of the Order Committee. Dr Mark DeNunzio, Florida State Orator, and Membership Co-Chair for National. The local lodges that participated were Palm Bay Lodge, Deltona Sons & Daughters of Italy, La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge in Tampa, and Nature Coast Lodge from Spring Hill.
We are proud of all the hard work accomplished by the Osceola County lodge, and everyone that donated and helped Cinderella find her Fairy Godmother.
We are all looking forward to next year’s Cinderella Event, scheduled for Sunday, March 14, 2021.
We hope to have all of you join us.
Thank you,
Carolyn Cianciotta
